Applications to get more followers have been mushrooming over the past few months. And, no doubt people will be jumping in and using these tools to get as many followers as possible.
By now, you probably know that MaxWeb doesn’t subscribe to the follow-you-follow-me strategy, so why has this product been reviewed.
Well, for two reasons. The first is that they promoted themselves as finding targeted followers and I wanted to see whether this was done. Secondly, and the real pull for me, you learn who your 200 Retweeters are! I had not seen this before and really wanted to learn about the Retweeting habits of those I follow. And, it truly has been fascinating.
Was it worth changing my twitter strategy to learn? Yes and No
Yes, because I can now share this with you and I also learned that my impressions of people are borne out by their RT habits.
No, because now I am following lots of people and I am not sure whether they are following me because I followed them or that they are interested in what I say.

The big question is whether I will stay past the free trial. Well, if I was pursuing the follow-you-follow-me strategy, I would seriously consider it. But, I am not so, no, I won’t be signing up.
